We will meet 2-3 times before your baby is born (apart from our initial meeting).
We will discuss and become familiar with your birth plan, go over any questions or concerns you may have.
I will do my best to help provide information on physiological birth, information and resources on intervention during pregnancy and the birth process so you can make your own informed decisions.
We will go over topics like advocacy, emotional support, physical support, comfort & coping strategies and tips for postpartum.
Once hired, I am available by text at any point during your pregnancy for support.
Starting at 37 weeks I am on call 24/7 while we wait for your sweet baby to arrive.
I will be with you In the birth room to support you and your partner.
If for unforeseen circumstances you end up needing a caesarian section, I will be with you leading up to surgery and be waiting for you in post-op (in some rare occasions doulas are allowed in the OR during a caesarian).
Back up doula provided in the rare event that I am physically unable to attend your birth.
