Blue Birth Pool

Studies have shown multiple benefits of water births and hydrotherapy. Some of the benefits women have reported include shorter labour, more comfort during contractions, and a greater sense of calm and presence during the birthing experience.

Our Blue Birth Pool is professional-grade and generously sized (76 inches x 65 inches) — making it ideal for a comfortable, supported water birth at home.

Included in the Rental:

• Professional-grade Birth Pool (76” long x 65” wide – can be adjusted to the right height for you with its 3 independent chambers.)
• Single-use disposable liner
• Floating water thermometer
• Emergency pool patch kit
• Electric pump to inflate the pool
• Quiet submersible water pump
• Two 25’ hoses
• Clean water hose (for filling only).

• Longer CLEAN hose available upon request.
• Dirty water hose (for emptying only)
• Water tap adapters
• Debris net
• Blue protective floor tarp (8x10 ft)
• Step-by-step setup and takedown instructions
• Optional twinkle lights

All equipment will be in your care from 37 weeks pregnant until 2 days postpartum.

Pickup & Delivery Info: 

Delivery and pickup within 15 km of downtown Victoria is included. Outside of this zone, a delivery fee applies. You’re also welcome to pick up and return the kit yourself at no extra cost.

Damage Deposit Policy

A $100 refundable damage deposit is required in addition to the rental fee for all birth pool rentals. This deposit helps ensure that each pool is returned in good condition for the next family.

 

When the pool is returned:

 

• If it is properly cleaned and packed according to the return instructions, the full deposit will be refunded.
• If the pool is returned with improper packing that results in additional cleaning, or if the pool or its components are damaged beyond normal wear and tear, we reserve the right to retain up to the full deposit amount.

If any portion of the deposit is withheld, we will provide a formal breakdown explaining the reason and the specific amount kept.

 

Damage deposits are processed and returned within 48 hours of the pool’s return and inspection.
